Latest on IYP's crisis: Allen Effeh is a fraudster– Nsikak Tom opens up

Nsikak Tom, BoT, Ibom Youth Pathfinder
The crisis rocking Ibom Youth Pathfinder is yet to doused as the Chairman Board of Trustee Mr. Nsikak Tom Udo has come out to clear the air on the various role individuals played in the success of the convention. He was irked by the interview his colleague and former Akwa Ibom state Coordinator Mr. Allen Effeh granted our media organisation. According to the narratives,  Akwa Ibom Youth Convention is the brainchild of Nsikak Tom Udo, a chattered Accountant who happens to be the founder and Board of trustees chairman of Ibom Youth Pathfinder, the organisers of the event.
Akwa Ibom Youth Convention as a youth event have been organized for four years consistently without issues and this has made the event a brand amongst Akwa Ibomites just because we operate in a very civilized manner. Akwa Ibom youths from all over the world are proud of this great brand.
As a result of this, eminent personalities in Akwa Ibom State have identified with us just because they have seen this organisation as an organised one. Several youths in our state pleaded that we should stage the event in Akwa Ibom. The Board of Trustees decided to bring it down and the former Coordinator in Akwa Ibom Allen Effeh pleaded to come into the picture immediately he was appointed some months ago. So we decided to act according to the constitution of the organisation which stipulates that the organisers of the event are the Board of Trustees.
We made it so because we know how unruly and desperate some youths can be, so we decided to keep the responsibility of organising the event with the board of trustees to avoid distraction and to concentrate while preparing in advance to thwart the effort of some individuals that will want to hijack the platform for their selfish reasons.

In order to protect the aims and objectives of the cherishes organisation from desperate and over ambitious persons,  we ensured all letters for the event came from the Board of trustees to check mate and curtail the activities of all state coordinators. Unknowing to the organisers of the event, the Akwa Ibom state Coordinator Mr. Allen Effeh fraudulently printed his own letter head and approached politicians to grace the event to come and speak to youths, but we cautioned him that this is not a political event, rather a youth inspirational programme that we are not interested in politics.

Ever since Allen has decided to blackmail me just because we are trying to protect what we (Board of trustees) suffered to build. He promised to destroy the organisation that he just joined some months ago of which He knows God will never allow him. He has failed already. Allen uses the name of the organisation to receive money from unsuspected individuals in Akwa Ibom State and enrich himself. Accoding to the Nsikak Tom Udo, Allen has a very poor mindset and he thinks money is everything and it’s a shame on him that he has brought Ibom Youth Pathfinder to a great disrepute and we have disassociated ourselves from him.
We have a fine gentle man as our coordinator in Akwa Ibom State(John Ekpo). We are not a political organisation and will never be. The event is meant to celebrate and inspire Akwa Ibom youths. Allen does not know what it takes to build a cherished organisation and a brand from scratch that’s why he want to ensure the brand name is destroyed because he is no more a part of it as a result of his atrocities.
He will never succeed with his lies.Allen has reasons for embarking on this failed mission of blackmail. UYO 2014 was highly successful and youths were excited seeing a fine young man (Nsikak Tom) with creative ideas like Akwa Ibom Youth Convention. The Chairman Board of trustees Ibom Youth Pathfinder is a fine gentle man, hard working and does not believe in dispute. According to one of the member of Ibom Youth Pathfinder, Nsikak Tom Udo is viewing this as a price to pay for contributing enormously to the development of Akwa Ibom youths and will never relent in ensuring our youths see light and not darkness. Yes we can!  Akwa Ibom Youth Convention Lives on!  Thank You and remain blessed.
