MercyBen Kiddies Montessori School in its usual tradition celebrated its annual cultural day on March 3, 2017.

MercyBen Kiddies Montessori School in its usual tradition celebrated its annual cultural day on March 3, 2017.
It was a colourful celebration as pupils of the school were dressed in different cultural attires of Yoruba, Igbo, Hausa, Ibibio, Efik, and Bini to mention but a few.
According to the proprietress of the school, Mrs. Mercy Abiodun Benson, “It is our tradition every year to showcase and to inculcate the richness of the cultural heritage of every tribes in these children. Apart from wearing the native attires, they also showcase and eat different types of native foods. We used this medium to teach them the value of culture and traditions of Nigeria.”
MercyBen Kiddies Montessori School, located at 9, Ore-Ofe Street off Adekoroye Street, Killa House bus-stop, Ejigbo, Lagos, is outstanding for being:
• A home away from home
• An institution where  teachers are educated, well trained, friendly and committed to the care of the kids.
• A place where teaching is sound and spiced with Montessori learning activities.
Special learning features for all classes include: Music, ICT (Computer studies), Phonetics (Diction), French and Yoruba language.
At MercyBen Kiddies Montessori School, everybody is a shinning star.
The school believe in ‘catching them young’ culturally.
