My dream is to educate and empower less privileged – Miss Museum, Precious Okon

 Precious Uduak Okon is an interesting young lady to anyone who comes across her. She is soft spoken, God fearing, respectful, funny, has a heart of gold, no wonder enjoys the sobriquet, 'A Queen With A Difference.’ Hails from Ikot Ubo Town in Nsit Ubium L.G.A. of Akwa Ibom State, youthfull Uduak is the fifth child in the family of nine. Currently, she is an undergraduate at the Lagos State University studying Public Administration. She is remarkably blessed with beauty, talents, creative and ideas, innovations. 
A Beauty Queen, trained Make-Up Artist of repute, Skin care Therapist, a Motivator, Model, Writer, humanitarian activist, and CEO of D'UANRI CONCEPTS. Despite her limitation as an orphan, her tenacity, creativity, intelligence, wit, natural beauty and God's grace has earned her the prestigious foremost reputation as MISS MUSEUM TOURISM. Miss Museum Pageant is organised by National Museum Onikan Lagos and she's rounding up her tenure soon. She has used her position judiciously to project, create awareness about the activities of the Museums, break the societal apathy on the general ideology of the Museums and educate the public on the importance of embracing our National culture and heritages. She has been achieving this through the use of media, organising tours to the Museum and visits to Ghana and encouraging youth to take pride in their culture and African Culture at large because our culture is UNIQUE. Queen Precious is presently working on numerous projects targeted on the youths, physically challenged, less privileged and poor young orphans. Her commitment in adding values to the youth has earned her the coveted Award for Excellence by the National Association of Public Administration Students (NAPAS) Lagos State University, Anthony Campus. Recently she was honoured alongside Baba Dee with award for the part she played in the development of the entertainment in Nigeria. She has visited and made donations to some less privileged homes among which are Red Cross Society, Motherless and Abandoned Babies Home - Yaba. Little Saint Orphanage - Ogudu GRA, and Nigeria Society for the Blind - Vocational Training Centre – Oshodi.
She has soft spot and passion for the less privileged, Child Welfare and Orphans.
Uduak said 'asides my status as an orphan, it is a calling and because I understand the trauma of a young orphan in that state, the challenges they go through because I have gone through them. Hear her vision statement, “My dream is to educate and empower them into key players in the global economy.” Precious is a 'driver of success'.
