Uyo Senatorial District (USD), Lagos to inaugurates elected excos Saturday Feb 1


On Saturday February 1st, 2020, the Surulere axis of Lagos State would be very busy, as Akwa Ibom State indigenes and dignitaries within and outside Lagos will throng the area for the much-awaited inauguration of Uyo Senatorial District (USD), Lagos newly elected Executive Officers.
 This historical event will take place at the prestigious Akwa Ibom State Community Hall, Lagos, No 4 Adedapo Street off Tejusho Market, Yaba, Surulere, Lagos State by 12 noon (red carpet) while the main event start by 1:00pm
Two major National and 1 state Newspapers which are The Sun, Vanguard and The Pioneer Newspapers published the results of the elections and it was the talk of the town. Elder Enefiok Udoh-led electoral committee conducted a very successful election on Saturday October 5, 2019 and was adjudged the most peaceful, fair and transparent.
Having won the election with the majority votes, Chief Matthew Udoheyop emerged the winner as President-General of USD, Lagos chapter. Other candidates who won the election alongside Chief Udoheyop were Akp. Nseobot William, Vice President, Akp. Uwem Idaha, Secretary General, Mr Alfred Usanga, Assistant Secretary, Idongesit Stephen, Treasurer, Akp. Matata Udoekot, Financial Secretary, Akp. Cletus Akpan, Provost, Akp Gospelo Etim, PRO, Mr Osom Joseph, Publisher, Ibom Celebrity International Magazine (online), Media Officer, Mr Peter Peter, Assistant Financial Secretary, Akp./Barr. Cletus Obong Eyo-Udo JP, Legal Adviser and Miss Eno-Obong Robert, Chief Welfare Officer.
Uyo Senatorial District is the foremost and majority ethnic group, which comprises nine (9) local government areas in Akwa Ibom State; they are ETINAN, UYO, NSIT IBOM, NSIT UBIUM, NSIT ATAI, IBESIKPO ASUTAN, ITU, URUAN and IBIONO.
Dignitaries who have given their confirmation to attend the occasion are, Mr Gabriel Moses Bassey, MD Maschi Global Limited, the chairman of the occasion, Chief E. O. Etim, Obong Ata Uyo, Ibesikpo Asutan, Father of the Day, Akparawa Michael Ekpenyong, Liaison Officer, Akwa Ibom State, Lagos, Special Guest of Honour, Prince Felix Udoh, President, AKISCOM, Chief (Dr) Solomon Ogbonna, President Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Lagos, Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio (MMI), Lagos chapter and a host of others.
