In a world press conference hosted by the organizers of Home Sweet Home Cultural Carnival, Solitaire Media Entertainment Ltd, the President and Founder of the cultural event, Mr. Uwem Umoh, in a statement to the press, announced Mr Kufre Ekanem, the Managing Director of Philosoville Limited as the Chief Host of Home Sweet Home Cultural Carnival Season 3.
The event is slated to hold on Sunday, December 15, 2019, at the Calabar Hall Arena, Ajao Road, Surulere, Lagos City. Fixed for 1pm.

He further stated that as usual, the award segment of the event, tagged AFRICAN CULTURE AMBASSADORIAL AWARDS (AFRICAA), promises to live up to expectations. He stressed that work is in progress as deserving recipients will be unveiled to the general public once the board finishes the painstaking collation.
Home Sweet Home Cultural Carnival, a cultural event that reenacts the nostalgia of natural living amongst friends and family units. Where different African masquerades from different tribes mesmerise the yearning crowd. Boasting of a variety of African cultural dances. And the rich local cuisines.
The chief host, Mr Kufre U. Ekanem, is a thoroughbred Marketing and Public Relations practitioner, a creative entrepreneur, a corporate culture advocate, a poet and a practicing copreneur. He is the Managing Director of Philosoville Limited, (a Thought Consultancy Company with core focus on Culture, Marketing and Public Relations) and Chairman of Rosemary’s Group (a group of interior design and home comfort companies). Over a 15-year period, Ekanem led the public relations agenda at two multinational organisations (Nigerian Breweries/HEINEKEN and Cadbury West Africa on the Cadbury/KraftFoods/Mondelez International family).
Mr. Ekanem is a widely-travelled, broad-spectrum corporate executive with a track record of performance delivery covering nearly 30 years in diverse multinational environments. His work experience has included roles in marketing, public relations, advertising, theatre, journalism, insurance, broadcasting, administration and teaching. He is a leading crisis communications expert, a marketing/media relations strategist, a culture advocate, a Public Affairs thought leader, a creative entrepreneur and a poet.
Mr. Ekanem attended the University of Calabar, Calabar, Nigeria where he emerged Best Graduating MBA in 1993. He is a Fellow of the National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria, a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants, a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, a Member of the Nigerian Institute of Management and a Member of the International Public Relations Association. He is a Goodwill Ambassador of the Federal University of Technology, Akure and was named the Best Spokesman in Nigeria (Private Sector) by the Brand Journalists Association of Nigeria, BJAN, in 2017.
Mr. Ekanem is the Initiator and Executive Producer of Hymnodia, an innovative reality-show platform created to reignite the hymn culture; his collection of poems,the ant eaters, received Honourable Mention at the Association of Nigerian Authors Poetry Awards in 2011. He is a Rotarian and sits on the advisory boards of several small and medium scale enterprises in Nigeria. Aside the board room and corporate entities, Mr Ekanem is a lover of socio-cultural activities. Holding different positions in different socio-cultural groups. He is the incumbent Deputy International President of Ati Anyang Foundation. He lives in Lagos and married with a daughter.
