Ibom guber 2015: Michael Okpo storms Lagos

As preparations heat up ahead of the 2015 governorship election in Akwa Ibom State, guber aspirant, Michael Okpo Onofiok is set to storm Lagos with his campaign train, IbomCelebs has learnt.

The governorship hopeful would arrive the Centre of Excellence alongside his entourage on Saturday, June 14 to meet with Ibomites in Lagos.

According to a close insider, the Maritime Expert would use the opportunity to inform his kinsmen in Lagos about his ambition to take over the mantle of leadership from Godswill Akpabio come 2015.

Onofiok is also expected to meet with professionals, groups as well as prominent Ibom sons and daughters in the state.

Our correspondent observes that this is the first time the guber aspirant would be visiting Lagos since he declared interest in the race to the government house.
