Exposed! Calabar house of horror



In southern part of Calabar, the Cross River State capital popularly called Calabar South, on a popular street, Inyang, at the Afokang Street intersection stands a mysterious edifice.
The walls of the house which have several apartments with lockup stores at the front row are painted black and bear several strange inscriptions.

 A Nigerian undergraduate student who used his tuition fee to buy hard drug has been arrested for drug trafficking, the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency said in a statement on Saturday.

NDLEA said the suspect, Udiomeh Kufre Ita, a student of the faculty of Management Sciences at the Regent University in Ghana, was arrested at the weekend at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Lagos. He was caught with 1.745 kilogrammes of dried weeds that tested positive for cannabis popularly called hemp.

Uyo, Calabar, Akamkpa, Ikom, Obudu Cattle Ranch to be linked by Coastal Rail Line

 Baring any hitches, the bidding process may soon begin for the selection of contractors that will construct a new standard gauge coastal rail line to connect ten towns in South South and Aba in the South East.
The modern rail line which will start in Benin will pass through Sapele and Warri in Delta State and vie into the Bayelsa State Capital Yenagoa, then onto Port Harcourt up to neighboring Aba and Uyo in Akwa Ibom and back to Calabar, Akamkpa, Ikom and terminate at the Obudu Ranch Resort.

Olomo was said to have checked into Hotel Farlem at 8, Archibong Street, Afaha Ukwu, Eket, in Akwa Ibom State on Thursday, October 17, before his disappearance three days later.

It was gathered from reliable sources that one of the prime suspects and accomplice in the large scale fraud that rocked SUBEB in the State is the serving commissioner one in the state Local Government service commission, Mr. Mike Sebastian. An important source who served with Sebastian during the last board of SUBEB informed our reporter that the corrupt and fraudulent attitude of Sebastian had always put him at loggerheads with the then chairman of the board Mr. Patrick Ndon.

Unbelievable! South African Pastor makes members eat grass

 God forgive for saying this, but how stupid can some people be? And how do you follow and obey another human being so blindly? A pastor in South Africa, Pastor Lesego Daniel (you will find his pics after the cut) is making his members eat grass. Yes, grass!
Pastor Daniel, who is the founder and Head Pastor at Rabboni Centre Ministries, situated at Zone 2 Ga-Rankuwa, north of Pretoria, said he was basically trying to prove that humans can be controlled by the spirit and they can eat anything to feed their bodies. I don't know how he managed to convince his members to go outside the church and start eating grass.

The motion was moved Thursday in Uyo at an enlarged meeting of the State Caucus of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) that was attended by the Deputy National Chairman of the Party, Chief Uche Secondus.

Man killed 65-year-old woman over cassava theft

A 30-year-old man, Mr. Augustine Akpan, from Osuk Ntan village in Ibiono Ibom Local Government Area of Akwa Ibom State has killed a 65-year-old woman, Mrs. Iquo  Akpan, to death.It was learnt that Augustine sister, Ms Ani Akpan, stole cassava from Iquo farm.
The incident was said to have been reported to the village council, who arrested Ani with the police.
It was gathered that Ani’s brother, Augustine became furious following the detention of his sister by the police.

Speaking during a solemn assembly organized by the Akwa Ibom state government, the Governor told Clerics that any prayer by men of God that is contrary to his position, will not be answered by God and that any prophecy that is contrary to his stand on the 2015 gubernatorial election in Akwa Ibom is a false prophecy and should be disregarded, because God is a God of justice and justice and equity who has demanded that the governorship slot should be zoned to the senatorial district.

 Annie Idibia has reportedly just delivered a bouncing baby girl. The actress who has been in America delivered just this evening making it her second baby with hubby Tuface Idibia. 
The actress/model delivered the baby girl  this evening in  an Atlanta hospital.
Both mother and child are reported to be doing fine. Showoff Magazine is trying to get in touch with somebody in the couple's camp.
