Nsit Atai agog as late Elder Nseobot Friday Williams buried amidst tears

 

It was a gathering of crème de la crème in Akwa Ibom State, Lagos State and other states, personalities and dignitaries from all walks of life, political gladiators, religious leaders, business muguls, community leaders, men, women, youth thronged out in large numbers to witness the burial of a great icon, a perfect gentleman, late Elder (Akparawa) Nseobot Friday Williams on February Friday 3^rd, 2023 at his residence in Nsit Atai LGA, Akwa Ibom State.

Late Elder Nseobot before his demise was inducted into the Institute of Chartered Accountant of Nigeria (ICAN) as an Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) in 1993, in 2007 he was conferred Fellowship of the Institute (FCA). He was also a member of the Chartered Institute if Taxation of Nigeria (CITN) in 1996 and the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria (FRCN) in 2017, he was a member of Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM).

 

Late Elder Nseobot Friday Williams was very sociable and had a good relationship with all who came across him. He was a man who had so much love for societal good and other social activities. He was an active member of many sociopolitical groups, such as: Vice President, Uyo Senatorial District, Lagos Chapter, a group that he has developed and nurtured the members to withstand the economic situation of the country and contributed positively to the development and advancement of the members through its various welfare programs. He was also a Deputy High Commissioner, Southwest of Mboho Mkparawa Ibibio (MMI), Adviser, Nsit Atai Welfare Association, Lagos Chapter, former Treasurer, Akwa Ibom State Community, Lagos (AKISCOM), member of Polling Unit Ambassadors of Nigeria (PUAN) to mention but a few.

 

Late Elder Nseobot, the father of three who died on November Thursday 3^rd, 2022 was buried amidst tears at his residence in Ibedu Atai, Nsit Atai, LGA, Akwa Ibom State. Open field by Ikot-Anwan Junction, Ibedu Atai was used for the lying in state.

The funeral service was conducted by Qua Iboe Church of Nigeria.

The numerous guests who traveled far and near to attend the burial were entertained with the best of Akwa Ibom native delicacies and intercontinental dishes by Tapadia catering service provider.
