Nsit Atai indigenes in Lagos celebrate End of the Year Get-Together, drums support for Lady Blessing Osom for Nsit Atai State Constituency

The memory of Sunday November 25, 2018 will not be forgotten in a hurry as Nsit Atai Welfare Association (NAWA) Lagos celebrated End of the Year Get-Together in a grand style.
The well-attended event  took place at No13 Maja Street, by Barracks b/stop, Surulere, Lagos.
CEO, BIGJOE Media, publisher of Ibom Celebrity Magazine, Mr. Joseph Osom Bassey during Nsit Atai Association End of the Year Get-Together party soliciting supports for his sister, Lady Blessing Osom.
It was a moment of reunion as Nsit Atai Indigenes in Lagos, both members and non-member turned out enmass to grace the occasion.
“The president, Mr Nseobong Jimmy ceased the opportunity to welcome and thanks all the participants for coming out in large numbers to rejoice with us. And he equally encouraged members to double their efforts to see to it that the organization move forward next year and to the unregistered members, he encouraged them to try as much as possible to register because there are so much benefits to enjoy as a registered member of the association.”
“He also uses the opportunity to expressed his dissatisfaction on the state of Nsit Atai Local Government Area, he stated that, Nsit Atai is the most poorly develop Local Government Area in Akwa Ibom State at the moment.”
“He added that for the past sixteen (16) years, the state government has neglected the area with the reason best known to them and even the past local government chairmen, House of Representatives Members have abandoned the local government and thereby thrown the poor masses into untold suffering and languish as there is no single development in the area, no single functioning ATM machine, no good road, functioning health care service, schools (both primary and secondary) even the government owned schools building are dilapidated.”
“He further stated that, having perused the manifesto of Lady Blessing Osom, the APC candidate for the Nsit Atai State Constituency and also listening to her speeches, he believes that she has the sincerity, zeal and willingness to bring the necessary development to the area and also liberates the lives of women, children and youths whose lives have been subjected to untold suffering and penury by the past leaders. He therefore calls on all the Nsit Atai indigenes residence in Lagos to support and join hands with her brother, Mr Joseph Osom Bassey who is also a member of the association to make sure that Blessing Osom wins come 2019,” he concluded.
The well attended event was fun-filled as there were so much to eat and drink.
Also available at the party were Prophet David Akpan Vice President, Welfare - Samuel Essien, Elder Nseobot Williams - Adviser, Elder Bassey Tom - Patron, Mr Peter Peter - Secretary, Esu A Esu - Executive member, Mrs Blessing Williams - Women leader, Iboro Willy - Provost among others.
Mr President in his closing remark said, by last Sunday of January 2019 that he wants to see the larger crowd than this as the aforementioned date is the meeting days.
He added that, there is need for all of us to come together as one big family to brainstorm on how to move Nsit Atai Wellfare Association forward next year 2019. That he needs the cooperation and contributions of everyone, there is a great task ahead of us and that he needs every one’s support to achieve it next year.
He concluded by wishing everyone well in all their endeavors and also prayed for safe journey to all the participants back to their difference destinations.
