Faces @ AKISCOM AGM, Award and 30th Anniversary (PHOTOS)

It was a night of clamour, music, foods, drinks and dance last Saturday September 16, 2017 at Hocal NIMR Suites, Nigeria Institute of Medical Research, Yaba, Lagos when Akwa Ibomite from all works of life thronged the venue to celebrate the community at 30.

Dignitaries and Government officials who flew in to Lagos from Akwa Ibom State to witness the epoch-making ceremony were Special Assistant to Governor on Media, Mr Aniekeme Finbarr, Information Officer, Ministry of Works, Akwa Ibom State, Mrs Ubong Chris Ante among others.

Chairman of the occasion, Chief Asuquo Inuikim Obom, commended the community president, Chief Ifot and his executives on giant stride and visible achievements for the community.   

Coincidentally, the AKISCOM 30th anniversary coincide with the Akwa Ibom State celebrating 30 years of creation, the event which is ongoing at the moment and it is expected to continue for a week.

Chief Elijah Ifot, the outgoing AKISCOM President and his amiable wife Mrs Idongesit Ifot was seen very elated and joyous at the event, dancing and thanked God for using him to bring a great transformation and development in the community. And he implored the incoming president and executives to continue the good work that he has started and take the community to the promised land.

AKISCOM tv, which is his latest innovation and achievement for AKISCOM before leaving office was the official media outfit to cover the well-attended event.
