Dec. 18 and 20 for TM, white wedding
Finbarr and Ekaette |
It
is no long news that Aniekeme Finbarr, a Media Aide to Governor Udom Emmanuel,
will marry his girlfriend of many years, Ekaette Enoch.
However,
the baritone voice Microphone maestro, has carefully picked Friday, 18th
December, 2015 for his traditional wedding and 20th December, 2015 for the
Solemnization of Holy Matrimony.
While
the TM is scheduled to hold at the Salvation Army Primary School, Ikot Ubo,
Nsit Ubium LGA, the marriage vows will be exchanged at the Immaculate
Conception Catholic Church, Edem Ekpat, Etinan LGA, from 10.00am.
Immediately
after the church ceremony, dignitaries, guests and well-wishers will assemble
for a Wedding Banquet at Banquet Hall, Eemjm Hotel and Suites, 47 Dominic Utuk
Avenue, Uyo, from 1pm.
In
the meantime, in a pre-wedding video of the lovebirds which leaked to the
reporter, Mr Finbarr, had made staggering confession.
“I
don’t know how this all started, it feels like one million years ago…Yeah, it
also feels like just one second…We’ve always been friends (friends forever).
“For
us the journey is only just started… Ultimately, we shall remain friends
forever... We wish ourselves very pleasant life has got to offer”.
When
quizzed in a telephone, Mr Finbarr, who busted into a prolonged laughter,
however, confirmed the pre-wedding video, saying, “It’s true! I am getting
married. It feels good, I feel over the moon. It’s a day I have been waiting
for, and I am grateful to the Almighty God that it’s coming for real.
Describing
his wife-to-be, the newly appointed Personal Aide on Media to Governor Udom
Emmanuel, said, “Didi (the pet name he calls Ekaete) is one that you’ll
describe as having a good heart and a beauty within. She’s a very brilliant
lady with a sound mind, well-bred child from Nsit Ubium, fears and loves God as
much as I do, and of course, very beautiful in a gracious way. To cap it all,
she suits my pursuits. She fits the bill for where I am headed.”
Meanwhile,
the Ekaete/Finbarr private affair which started at a Rotary Club meeting, some
six years ago, will be made public on the 18th and 20th December, 2015. Keep a date!
