Nigerian
Artiste and former project fame winner, Iyanya Mbuk, has announced
the launch of his social responsibility project ’The Iyanya Foundation’,
which will cater for orphans and less privileged members of the society.
Iyanya,
himself an orphan, says he’s hoping to use the NGO to help orphans across the
country make their lives better. “I’m one of the very few orphans that had the
opportunity to become great and influential in the society through my music and
with MTN giving me the platform through Project Fame. Not every talented
boy/girl on the street today will be as fortunate as Iyanya. Through this
Foundation, our drive is to help and establish as many orphans,” he wrote on
Instagram.
Iyanya
has lost both parents and an only brother.
