Mysterious healing river appears in Enugu State
A River with 'healing powers' (according to the people of the
community) mysteriously appeared in a community in Enugu State called Nachi, in
Udi LGA. The river, now called Orimiri Jordan (River Jordan) was first seen on
Nov. 11th.
According to reports, a Fulani Herdsmen first spotted the river and
ran to people in the community to alert them of the discovery. He told them
that as he passed the area with his herd of cattle, he heard a strange noise,
and when he turned back, he saw the river that wasn't there previously.

Cross River Government Takes Over 14 Community Schools

Cross
River State Governor Liyel Imoke has approved the take-over of 14 community
secondary schools by the state government.
The
state Commissioner for Education, Prof. Offiong Offiong, said this while briefing
journalists in Calabar on Thursday on the activities of the ministry. He said
the move was to further expand access to qualitative education in the state.
Offiong
said that many of the schools were in the rural communities, adding that the
take-over would further bring government closer to the people.

medical treatment because such expenses are borne by the state.
Speaking
while flagging off the state Maternal New Born and Child Health Week at
Sankwala, Obanliku Local Government Area, Imoke enjoined them not to pay for
the medical treatment of children of five years and below.

I just spoke with P-Square's publicist Bayo Adetu and he confirmed that Jude Okoye was not at Peter and Lola's wedding yesterday. I asked why he didn't attend and he said Jude and some members of P-Square's band were stuck in Ghana after their Saturday night show.

Miss Bum Bum contest, as in, the lady with the best booty! Lol. Nothing wey person no go hear. 25 year old Brazilian model Dai Macedo from the central state of Goia beat 26 other contestants to win the 2013 Miss Bum Bum contest which is quite popular in Brazil.
Dai impressed judges with her 42in derrière and went home with 5,000 reais ($2,100). She will also make a lot of money in advertising contracts. You would expect the butt that won her the contest to be 100% natural but it's not.
"It isn't 100% natural.

Ahmed Adamu, Nigerian emerges chairman of the Commonwealth Youth Council
A Nigerian, Ahmed Adamu,
(pictured above) has emerged the Chairperson of the Commonwealth Youth Council.
Ahmed beat several other delegates from twenty one countries to emerge the
winner at a keenly contested election which held yesterday Tuesday Nov. 12th in
Hambantota, Sri Lanka.

Africans 2013 and Nigerian industrialist Aliko Dangote is placed at No.1 with a
net worth of $20 billion. Africa’s richest are getting richer. In 2003, Forbes
counted only two billionaires in Africa – Nicky Oppenheimer and Johann Rupert,
both of South Africa, now there are about 30 of them.
