FACES AT AKISCOM WOMEN LAGOS HEALTH SEMINAR (PHOTOS)

Akwa Ibom State Community (AKISCOM), Lagos women wing headed by Obongawan Idongesit Elijah Ifot organised health seminar on June 30, 2018 at No 4, Adedapo Street, off Tejuosho Market, Yaba, Lagos.

The event witnessed a huge turn out of Akwa Ibom State women living in Lagos and it environs. 

Health professionals were invited to advised women on how to check, prevent and manage cancer and according to the facilitator, cancer can be cure if detected early.

Also, medicated eye-glasses were distributed to those who are having eye-related issues, free medical check ups for those suffering from diabetes and High Blood pressure.

The media organisations invited to cover the event were among others are AKISCOM Voice, AKISCOM TV, Pioneer Newspaper, Impact Newspaper, The Sun Newspaper, Ibom Celebrity Magazine (online) and etc.

The food sufficiency drive of Governor Udom Emmanuel led-administration in Akwa Ibom State has recorded another significant breakthrough following a presentation by the Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Sufficiency, Dr Uduak Charles Udo- Inyang, to the state Executive Council, the Long Grain Rice ; cultivated, processed and packaged by the state Ministry of Agriculture and Food Sufficiency in conjunction with Technical Committee On Agriculture.
